According to DoDI 6130.06, “Mandatory dietary supplement education is required for all Service members.”

Please contact the OPSS Team at OPSStraining@usuhs.edu if you would like to schedule an educational training for your group.

According to DoDI 6130.06, dietary supplement education is required for “all those who provide health-related services...All DoD health care providers and other military, civilian, and contractor personnel working with beneficiaries in any capacity on health, wellness, health promotion, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement are required to participate in DoD-approved dietary supplement safety training via the OPSS website.”

This mandatory training will be available through the OPSS Health Professional Module in 2024. If you would like to receive dietary supplement education sooner, please contact us at OPSStraining@usuhs.edu.

Yes, but you must complete an OPSS “Train the Trainer” session before receiving materials and slides. You can email us at OPSStraining@usuhs.edu to request a Train the Trainer session.

The OPSS Team is working on a module to satisfy the mandatory education requirement for those who provide health-related services stipulated in DoDI 6130.06. We anticipate this training module will be available in 2024. Please check back on this page for updates.
